A giant disconnect occurs between schools and the professionals in their community. As well as, the content being taught in classrooms and its relevance and application to the real world. 

THE SOLUTION

Founded and developed an online platform that connects K-12 educators with professionals in their community to create and deliver transformational educational experiences to students. At TEPHE I wore many hats, CEO, COO, CFO, UX Designer, Fundraiser, etc. Creating and running TEPHE strengthened my business acumen, commercial awareness, problem-solving orientation, creativity, networking abilities, strategic thinking, and product development.

    • Utilized by over 60 schools, in 15 districts, in 9 different states TEPHE allows any school to access and leverage the willing professionals in their community

  • Over $65,000 Raised

    • By individual donors and grants to fund TEPHE's build allowing the service to be accessed by any community 100% free

  • +1200 Available Professionals

    • Utilizing LinkedIn we assured that every school/educator that signed up to TEPHE would have 20+ professionals from a variety of fields to access and request​​

  • +1700 ​Transformational Experiences

    • Through our platform schools requested and executed +1700 experiences with professionals, reaching +35,000 students, and exposing them to new careers​
